CBBA’s First School Tournament Success
Through the hard work and dedication by many community members, the first ever CBBA Schools Tournament took place on Tuesday 19th August 2025 - taking host to great basketball skill and sportsmanship across the four participating schools, Chifley College Bidwill Campus, Chifley College Senior Campus, Rooty Hill High School and St Clair High School. Over 35 players, many from our Storm Representative Program and our CBBA Domestic Competition, played with heart, unity, and sportsmanship.
Each school played four games, including a grand final where Rooty Hill High School (47) defeated Chifley College Senior Campus (42) and claimed the first CBBA Schools Tournament Championship title.
This tournament also couldn’t have taken place without the generous financial contribution by Basketball New South Wales to help make this tournament as financially accessible for our many Culturally and Linguistically Diverse participants.
