  • The first step of coaching at CBBA is becoming the Community Coach.

    Community Coaches are qualified to coach Aussie Hoops and Local (U10-U14) Competitions at CBBA.

    To become a Community Level Coach, you’ll need to complete these two online course:

    After the completion of this course, CBBA will be able to allocate Aussie Hoops sessions and direct you to one of our clubs to start your coaching journey.

  • All CBBA Programs require coaches to run the program. Below is a list where you may be able to coach for:

    • Community Coach Qualification

      • Aussie Hoops

      • Assist All Hoops (additional training required)

      • Local Competition U10-U14

      • School Holiday Programs

    • Club Coach Qualification

      • Local Competition U10-U14

      • Blacktown Storm Junior Representative Teams - Head Coach and Assistant

      • Blacktown Storm Senior Representative Teams - Assistants

      • High Performance Programs

    • Association Coach Qualification

      • Blacktown Storm Senior Representative Teams - Head Coach

      • Head of Coaching

  • Blacktown Storm coaches are selected each season. Applications are open each year from late June or early July until the end of August.
