Blacktown’s Aussie Hoops program is held at two venues:
Kevin Betts Stadium, Mt Druitt
Beginners - Monday from 5:30pm
Intermediate - Monday from 5:30pm
Train & Play* - Monday from 5:30pm (Train 5:30pm-6:30pm | Game 6:30pm-7:00pm)
Blacktown Leisure Centre, Stanhope
Beginners - Fridays from 5:30pm
Intermediate - Fridays from 6:30pm
Train & Play* - Friday from 6:00pm (Game 6:00pm-6:30pm | Train 6:30pm-7:30pm)
*Maximum 10 participants per term

CBBA hosts a Ford Aussie Hoops program every school term. Each term runs over eight weeks with an hour session per week. An additional 30 minutes added for participants in Train and Play.
Term 4 2025 starts from the week commencing 20th of October
Mt Druitt Monday dates: 20th Oct, 27th Oct, 3rd Nov, 10th Nov, 17th Nov, 24th Nov, 1st Dec, 8th Dec
Stanhope Friday dates: 31st Oct, 7th Nov, 14th Nov, 21st Nov, 28th Nov, 5th Dec, 12th Dec, 19th Dec

Participants will be required to register term by term.

2026 Beginner and Intermediate Fees
New Participant - $175 per term (includes CBBA Aussie Hoops Starter Pack valued at $50)
Returning Participant - $125 per term
2026 Train & Play Fees
New Participant - $240 per term
Breakdown: Training/Aussie Hoops Pack $175 + Game Fee $95
Returning Participant - $220 per term
Breakdown: Training Fees $125 + Game Fee $95

Beginner Program
Suitable for kids aged 5 to 8 years old
Participants learn the foundational skills of basketball through fun games and drills
Intermediate Program
Suitable for kids aged 7 to 9 years old who have completed the beginner program.
Participants learn the rules and competition skills needed to play basketball.
Train & Play Program
Suitable for kids aged 7 to 9 years old who have completed the Intermediate Program.
Participants continue to build on their skills and start to use them in-game through our U10s Competition.
No experience is needed to participant in any program. We suggest for all new participants to start in the Beginners program. Our coaches will assess their skill and be moved to Intermediate, if necessary.

Ford Aussie Hoops is a nationwide introductory program for children looking to learn the great sport of basketball. The program is aimed at children aged 5 to 10 years old. We are proud to be offering this basketball program to the City of Blacktown.
