Competition Details

Summer League runs from October 2026 till April 2027 and starts the week commencing 12th October.
Schedule will be released Friday the 9th of October via Basketball Connect.
No games on the following dates:
Summer Holiday Break - 21st December 2026 through to 31st January 2027

The CBBA Summer League will be held at three venues in the City of Blacktown:

Week commencing 15th of March 2027 will be the start of the Summer Finals.
Schedule and bracket will be available via Basketball Connect after the completion of the regular season.

Our competition rules including team rosters, uniform requirements, fill-ins, rep player restrictions etc. can be found in our CBBA Competition By-Laws. This will be available when team nominations open.

Players are eligible to play in the Summer competitions that cater for the age that they will be as of the 31st of December 2027 (e.g. born 15th of May 2016 means they can play Under 12s and above).
Under 8 - Born 2020 or later
Under 10 - Born 2018 or later
Under 12 - Born 2016 or later
Under 14 - Born 2014 or later
Under 16 - Born 2012 or later
Under 18 - Born 2010 or later
Under 23 - Born 2005 or later
Open Seniors - Minimum age 16 years old / No maximum age
Masters - Born 1992 or earlier

Team Nomination and Player Fees

Team Nominations will be opening on Wednesday the 12th of August. Get notified by joining the waitlist here.
Team Nomination Fees
Juniors $90 per team per competition
Seniors $120 per team per competition
This fee is paid at the time of registration. This fee is non-refundable, unless we are unable to offer the team a position in the competition.

Participation fees are a combination of competition player fees and membership fees per person. It is required to be paid to complete your registration.
Juniors Players:
Team Nomination Fee - $90 per team, per competition
Competition Fee - $222 per person, per competition*
CBBA Membership Fee - This fee will need to be paid for new or expired members. More information can be found here.
*U8 and U10 players will be charged term by term at $111 per term.
Senior Players:
Team Nomination Fee - $120 per team per competition
Competition Fee - $262 per person per competition
CBBA Membership Fee - This fee will need to be paid for new or expired members. More information can be found here.
Please note that additional costs may incur with your chosen club or team for uniform, training sessions and team nomination fee coverage.

Team Nomination Fee - Paid at the time of nomination to secure a team’s place in a competition.
Competition Fees - Paid to cover competition costs such as court hire, referees and supervisors.
CBBA Membership Fees - Paid either 6 monthly or 12 monthly, which cover the participant via BNSW’s Insurance Policies.Click here for more information regarding CBBA Memberships.
To successful register to play in our competitions, a player must pay for their competition fees and have an active CBBA membership before taking the court.
