Storms roll though the Nunawading Tournament
Over the King’s Birthday Long Weekend, the City of Blacktown Storm entered nine teams into the Nunawading Basketball Tournament in Victoria! This weekend shared many victories and learnings for all CBBA athletes, team staff and parents! The following are our teams, and their results:
U12 Boys Purple in Division C1 - GOLD MEDAL - 1st (6-0)
U14 Boys Purple in Division AR - GOLD MEDAL - 1st (5-1)
U14 Boys Purple DP team in Division D4 - GOLD MEDAL - 1st (6-0)
U14 Boys Gold in Division B4 - 2nd Pool A (4-1)
U14 Girls Purple in Division B1 - GOLD MEDAL - 1st (5-1)
U16 Boys Purple in Division AR - 6th Pool B (1-4)
U16 Boys Gold in Division B3 - 5th Pool A (1-4)
U16 Girls Purple in Division B2 - 5th Pool A (1-4)
U16 Girls Gold in Division C2 - 6th Pool B (0-5)
A huge congratulations to our City of Blacktown Storm U12 Boys Purple, U14 Boys Purple, U14 Boys Development Purple, and our U14 Girls Purple for their gold medal victories!
CBBA also wants to take a moment and congratulate our City of Blacktown Storm U14 Boys Gold, U16 Boys Purple, U16 Boys Gold, U16 Girls Purple and U16 Girls Gold for their massive hard work and learning over the tournament!
Finally, a big thank you to all of the coaches, managers, parents, friends and family, and other ASF donors that helped our teams get to and from Nunawading safely.
