Blacktown Storm Youth League Men are back in the WSL Finals

Youth League Men (YLM) ONE and TWO are in the 2026 Waratah Senior League (WSL) Quarter Finals!!!!!!!!!!!!

The stage is officially set for the postseason and we can finally say Blacktown Storm have TWO teams in the final eight of two divisions. This Saturday the 8th of August, both teams will be competing in the Quarter Finals. The last time we had two teams in the WSL finals was back in 2024 where we ended up with one team advancing to the semis. Two years later here we are again but this time, WE GOT ONE AT HOME!

Before we get to that, your YLM2 got it done last Saturday with an incredible 90-79 win against the Bankstown Bruins. They now advance to the Quarter Finals where they match up against the Conference B first seed, Marrickville Spirit Blue. Your Storm have a challenge to overcome as they face the 15-1 team behind their home crowd on Saturday. Tip off is at 12:30pm at PCYC Marrickville. The winner will advance to the WSL Semi Finals.

After finishing with a 13-9 record, your Blacktown Storm YLM1 team landed the third spot on the ladder, giving them a home court advantage. With the new finals format, the team have been set up for a Quarter Final matchup with the 6th seeded Bulls in a win or go home game. Tip off is at 3:30pm at Kevin Betts Stadium, Mt Druitt. Doors will open from 2:30pm. Entry fees: $6 per adult | $4 per child

There will be a Meat Tray Raffle courtesy of the Meat Cartel, halftime performance from Australian Rhythmic Gymnastics and another chance at the One Shot Half Court Challenge!

It is going to be a fun afternoon of finals action and we need you to get behind it! Be there to support the boys and help them secure the win.
