2026 CBBA Showcase ticks all the boxes!

Over the last two weekends, the City of Blacktown Basketball Association held the second ever 2026 CBBA Showcase in alignment with the 2026 CBBA Representative Media Day(s). Kevin Betts Stadium saw heat, rain and sunshine whilst all junior and senior representative basketball teams came together for team and individual photos, thanks to our incredible partner LJC Sports.

Alongside the incredible photos were three showcase games between the CBBA Storm Waratah Senior League teams where:

  • Waratah 1 Youth Women defeated Waratah Women in a close, competitive matchup between new and returning athletes

  • Waratah 2 Youth Men split into two squads and had a mini-dunk-contest, and

  • Waratah 1 Youth Men narrowly defeated the Waratah Men in a great showing for steals, blocks and dunks

JB Collective Media was there to take great snaps of the action, a big thanks to them!

Finally, the best shooters from the CBBA Storm U16/U18 Boys and Girls teams competed in a fantastic 3-point contest! A massive congratulations to our winners: Amar’e, Celine, and Andrei - and a big thank you to all of the participants: Louis, Deron, Chelsea, Jasteen, Onyx, Charlize, Frankie, Bernie, Ellyse and Danielle.
