Junior Trial Schedule

CBBA intends to nominate two teams per age/gender group for 2026.

All Junior Trials will be held at Blacktown Leisure Centre, Stanhope. For age-specific information, please read the below.

If you played for a different association in 2025, before trialing for 2026 you must complete the intent to trial form found HERE.

    Schedule:

    • Sunday 19th of October - Session 1 (New Players Only) 10:00am to 12:00pm on Court 1 & 2

    • Sunday 26th of October- Session 2 (All Players) 10:00am to 12:00pm on Court 1 & 2

    • Sunday 2nd of November - Session 3 (Recalled Players Only) 10:00am to 12:00pm on Court 1 & 2

    Participants must register online before attending. Note: the first 30 minutes of the session with be for checking in.

Senior Trial Schedule

CBBA intends to nominate for 2x Youth League Men, 1x Youth League Women, 1x Waratah Men and 1x Waratah Women teams for 2026.

Youth League Men, Youth League Women and Waratah Women Trials will be held at Kevin Betts Stadium, Mt Druitt and Waratah Men Trials will be held at Charlie Lowles Leisure Centre, Emerton, please read the below.

Important Information

Here are a few things to note before you register for the 2025 Blacktown Storm Trials:

  • These trials are for our competitive basketball teams representing the City of Blacktown in the Basketball NSW Waratah Leagues.

  • You will be charged a flat fee of $40.00 at the time of registration. Registration on the day will incur an additional cost.

  • Participants must register online before attending.

  • Participants of the Storm Off-Season Training will have their trial fee waived and be automatically registered for the 2026 Storm Trials. To register for the Off-Season Program click here.

  • The Trials Process:

    • Trial Session 1 is ONLY for players who did not participant in the Blacktown Storm Program in 2025. This allow coaches to assess players who are new to the Storm Representative Program.

    • Trial Session 2 is where 2025 Blacktown Storm player will join. This session will be a mix of new players and 2025 players. After this session, coaches will cut down the trial squad to 30 for each group.

    • Trial Session 3 will be invite only which will consist of the final 30 for each group. After this session the coaches and the representative committee will finalise teams. Players will be notified by email whether they made the team or not.
